Well a bee’s life is not for me.  My goodness.  If it wasn’t 10 things it was 20 other random things I was working on today.  I had hoped that since today was Friday I would have a nice calm day.  Too much for that thinking.  I feel like I barely got anything done despite being so damn busy.

M and I finally had a call with the wedding coordinator from the hotel today at lunch.  We found out the perks that were included with the number of rooms we currently have booked.  Hello free mani/pedi for the bride and half hour massage for the groom.  We also discussed our reception options.  While I thought I didn’t really want a private reception we are now thinking this might be a really good idea.  M and I will get to choose our wedding location and reception spot once we arrive.  We also found out that M’s brother can provide our ceremony music.  This makes me EXTREMELY happy!  Pat plays the guitar and I can’t think of anything better than having someone we love play music for us on this special day.  I had been worried the resort wouldn’t allow this but apparently it isn’t a problem.  YAY!

Now all I have to do is sit back and watch the months count down.  I still need to find a bouquet and I think that I am going to make a veil of sorts.  Like a bird cage veil only it would cover a bun instead of my face.  I’ve found a few I like and I think I can make one pretty easily if I can find the right tulle.  So I guess I am now on a hunt for that.  Oh and hopefully my brooches will come in tomorrow.  *Crossing fingers** 🙂
