Over the weekend I knocked a few more thing off my DIY list. Â One being a cute “E” key chain. Â I bought some supplies last week and last night I finally sat down to make it. Â It only took about 30 mins and BAM! Â New key chain, that I use in 32 days. Â Or longer since I won’t be able to use it till we get back. Â But anyhoo I think it’s quite cute.

I also finished our guest book last night. Â I think this will be a very cute idea and should be more personal then the traditional “K and M were here, congrats!” post. Â We will ask our guests to provide well wishes or advice and then we will add pics from the trip later. Â No pics for this one 😉

Well this is probably my last post for the week. Â I’ve done a stellar job thus far. Â I know I forgot yesterday. Â Anyway, I ran to Target tonight and picked up a few more items that could be wedding related. Â Just some card stock and flower stickers.
I’ve been thinking about making bride and groom signs to hang from our chairs at the reception. Â Originally I wanted to do wooden signs but M wasn’t really feeling that idea and I’m not very good at painting letters/words on wood. Â Next best option, paper. Â So as I was sitting here pondering whether or not I should do bride/groom or mr/mrs, I hit up the knot to see what my fellow knotties thought. Â One girl suggested bride and groom since we only get those titles for one day but we will be mr and mrs for life. Â I like her thinking!
And as luck would have it I bought an extra piece of gray card stock at Michaels. Â Viola, signs are made. Â Just like that. Â M didn’t even know what happened. Â hehe.
Now I feel like I want to print out our table numbers and menus but tonight really isn’t the night to try and finish all of this. Â The printer seems to print a little pinker on the card stock. Â I was worried because my “mock up” menus seemed to be a little more red. Â Anyway, I might test out the menu once more before I take it somewhere. Â But I think the table numbers, all 4 of them, will be fine to be printed at home.
Now for a pic.

This weekend is my bachelorette party weekend. Â A couple of the girls and myself are going to Wilmington. Â It should be a fun time. Â A good friend from Texas is flying in tomorrow afternoon. Â YAY! Â I haven’t seen her in a while so it will be nice to catch up.

I haven’t really posted much of the DIY wedding items I’ve been working on but I finished a few things this weekend so here you go.
The first is my DIY bridal suite/do not disturb sign. Â I made this so the bridal suite and do not disturb signs would be interchangeable. Â I didn’t feel like making 2 signs and in order to save a little space this seemed to work well. Â I basically just added slits to the corners and the signs slip in.

The next thing I worked on was my cake topper. Â The DREADED cake topper! Â M and I ran to Michael’s on Saturday to pick up more rhinestones. Â And wouldn’t you know, I didn’t get the hot fix ones (so I will have to hand glue them!) Â And I didn’t get ENOUGH! Â ARGGGG! Â Seriously. Â But I think it will look good. Â I ran to Michael’s at lunch and picked up one more pack so this should finish it off.

Now I can finish up the last corner. Â You can’t really tell but the rhinestones are a pale pink. Â I think they will add just enough sparkle. Â I’d thought about filling in the whole thing but that would probably require a million of these little boogers. Â So this is what I’m going with.
And lastly I finished up my day of hoodie. Â I might add another heart to the shorts but this one is done.

So there is my post of wedding day DIY projects.
