Just another Monday post Nov 08

Oh Monday, why do you keep coming back?  This weekend was the end of daylight savings time.  Let me just say I really like daylight savings time.  I DO NOT like regular time.  Sure it’s nice to see daylight when I wake up in the mornings but really, I hate leaving work and it’s already dark out.  I know I’ve read about why daylight savings was started but it just seems kind of dumb to me.  Well at least regular time does.  🙂

M and I had a pretty lazy weekend.  Saturday was full of football.  Unfortunately the Wolfpack didn’t fair so well against the Clemson tigers.  Had I known both teams were going to play like utter crap I would have worn my Clemson sweatshirt in hopes of a Wolfpack win.  Oh well. Auburn had homecoming this weekend and it was an easy victory over Chattanooga.  And that’s all I’m going to say about my Tigers for now.  (There will be a long detailed post in the next few weeks.)

Yesterday afternoon while we were watching yet another football game, M and I noticed that Halle was limping pretty good on her back right leg.  I grabbed her and started gently poking and prodding to see if I could figure out what exactly hurt.  I’ve pretty much ruled out her foot as I pushed and pulled and stretched it out.  She didn’t seem to have any discomfort with that.  I think it may be more in her hip area.  We are hoping she just pulled something playing with Julio but if she doesn’t look better in the next day or so she will have to go to the vet.  I am worried about taking her because I’m scared I’m not going to like what they say.  She has several lumps, which have been identified as fat deposits, but a while back I noticed a knot on her neck.  It’s about the size of a pea and it’s hard.  I’ve been keeping an eye on it and it hasn’t seemed to grow but I still worry something might be wrong.  I know I should take her in but I don’t know if I could handle her being sick.  But if she is I just don’t want her in pain.

Anyway enough sad stuff.  Back to blah Monday!
