For years now I’ve wanted to try Bare Minerals makeup. Â I can’t imagine it had anything to do with my former obsession with infomercials. Â Anyway after consulting some of the knotties I decided I would give it a try. Â M and I ran by the mall yesterday to go to the store. Â Since I really had no idea what to do I decided it might be best to let someone show me. Â I sat down and proceeded to let the sales guy tell me more. Â Yes I said sales guy and YES he was wearing makeup (it was pretty natural but still). Â He showed me the different steps and made me up. Â 🙂
At first I wasn’t quite sure what I thought but my make up looked good. Â A little more then I normally do but I figured that was par for the course. Â The more the make up settled, the more I liked it. Â I had a nice glow and my skin looked great. Â I must say I really felt pretty.
This morning I had my first shot at swirling and buffing. Â My first few attempts didn’t seem to do much. Â I added a little more powder and kept going. Â I finally thought I had enough on and continued to the next step. Â This step went pretty well and I finished up. Â I know it will take a few days to get everything figured out but so far so good.
And if I can just say, I was so excited about my new make up I dreamed about it all last night. 😀
Today I had an appointment with the dermatologist. Â I’ve had a little spot on my cheek for a while now that I’ve ignored. Â But a few weeks ago it got really itchy and scaly and would bleed when I scratched it. Â I decided it was time to have it removed. Â Thankfully I didn’t think too much about the removal process or I might have freaked out. Â I guess I thought she would freeze it off so I didn’t think about the fact I might get a shot in my cheek. 🙁 Â I was a big girl and I made it through the shot and the removal. Â Now I have a little band aid that I have to wear on my face until it heals. Â BOOOO! Â The doc said they should have the pathology back in a week or so. Â Hopefully it will just be a little sun damage.
