Yesterday I didn’t feel so well once I got to work so I ended up coming home and trying to work from home. It is only ALOT challenging. Not really trying to get the work done but mostly the fact that at work I have 2 monitors and at home I have 1 laptop. Not so easy I tell you. Plus feeling like crap doesn’t really help. This means not only am I days behind, I am still days behind. I decided that I would stay late if needed in order to get caught up to Monday. Thankfully I was able to get all the orders in from Friday and was out the door at 5:30.
I feel like I’m treading water and just barely keeping my head up. I just wonder how much longer I can keep this up. Tonight my neck is in knots so I asked M to grab a diet coke before he left the office. Random request? Not if you have a bottle of whiskey in the cabinet ;) Anyhoo, this drink is pretty strong so one should do just fine.
In between chaos and borderline insanity, M forwarded me an email from his grandmother. She received her save the date. She said that she was very happy to get it and had it displayed on her fridge. :) So I guess that means the UK folks should have their save the dates. I must say I’m pretty impressed it only took a week.
Oh and in other wedding related news, I found a website with cheap brooches over the weekend. And when I say cheap I mean CHEAP. Most of the brooches are under 10.00. With prices that good and flat rate shipping, I kind of went overboard at first. I added all the ones that caught my eye to my cart. After looking at them for a few days I finally narrowed it down to two. I wanted three but M wasn’t too keen on that idea, hehe!  So I was finally able to narrow it down to two that I really really liked. One will go on the sash of my dress and the other, if not too large, I’m thinking I might put on the stem of my bouquet. Really it will just depend on what they actually look like when I get them. But if they look as good in person I will post the link on here. Not that anyone really needs or uses brooches anymore but you never know.
Here’s hoping this week flies by!
