Over the weekend I talked to M about my wedding band and how I wasn’t sure this was the one. \u00c2\u00a0I knew when it finally came in it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting. \u00c2\u00a0I guess I was hoping to feel different but I never did. \u00c2\u00a0Now with the thought of it coming back this week I just couldn’t take it. \u00c2\u00a0This is NOT my wedding band. \u00c2\u00a0And it has been such a pain that I don’t want it.<\/p>\n
So now I have 5 weeks left to find a ring. \u00c2\u00a0Awesome right? \u00c2\u00a0Sure is when anything I might want would need to be special ordered due to my insanely small fingers. \u00c2\u00a0I decided to look at the place M bought my engagement ring from and I found a few rings in my price range that I really liked. \u00c2\u00a0I also found a coupon code to knock a little more off the price AND they were offering free upgraded shipping if you ordered today.<\/p>\n
This morning I called the store I ordered my other ring from and asked for our deposit back. \u00c2\u00a0After going back through all the details with the store manager and finally telling him I did not want another ring, I wanted my money back he obliged. \u00c2\u00a0Thirty minutes of my life I will never get back but anyway it’s done now. \u00c2\u00a0Hopefully I will never have to deal with this store again.<\/p>\n
Now back to the other store. \u00c2\u00a0I found 2 I really liked that were quite different from each other. \u00c2\u00a0I decided I had all day to make the decision, and really it didn’t have to be made at all today. \u00c2\u00a0Finally after some thinking I decided on one ring. \u00c2\u00a0Honestly it is similar in style to the custom ring but a little different. \u00c2\u00a0I used my coupon code and with everything said and done, the new ring only ended up being $30.00 more. \u00c2\u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00c2\u00a0And it will be here WEDNESDAY!<\/p>\n
So after 5 MONTHS of dealing with the jewelry store here in town I will have my ring in less then 2 days. \u00c2\u00a0It will be shipped to my office and I will finally have a wedding band. \u00c2\u00a0After all of the ups and downs and waiting it will be here. \u00c2\u00a0I have to say I was pretty worried with the thought I might not be able to find something in time. \u00c2\u00a0 I really wish I had been able to see the ring in person first but my engagement ring is great and I’m sure this one will be as well.<\/p>\n
Now I can anxiously await for Wednesday and the Fedex guy!<\/p>\n
