In the past few days my computer at work has gone from bearable to down right POS. \u00c2\u00a0It has always been on the slow side but on Friday it locked up and since it was almost time to go I just turned it off. \u00c2\u00a0Monday morning was a nightmare because it started acting up as soon as I turned it back on. \u00c2\u00a0To the point I told my boss I would work from home, and I’m pretty sure he considered – for a second. \u00c2\u00a0\ud83d\ude42 \u00c2\u00a0It took almost an hour before it finally started working.<\/p>\n
The rest of the week has been one lock up, freeze, and crash after another. \u00c2\u00a0The plus side is once this would happen it would be okay for a while. \u00c2\u00a0Well today was the final straw. \u00c2\u00a0We were dealing with some issues from the system roll out last night and my boss was at my desk. \u00c2\u00a0After about 10 minutes he called our office manager to find out where my new (refurb) computer was.<\/p>\n
By lunch it had frozen a few more times, I may have kicked it a little during these times ;), and he called again. \u00c2\u00a0FINALLY I was sitting there and the OM walks up with a new tower. \u00c2\u00a0I just turned my computer off so he can hook up the new one. \u00c2\u00a0YAY!!!!!<\/p>\n
It took a few minutes to get\u00c2\u00a0acquainted\u00c2\u00a0with my new machine, and well it took quite a while to remember my damn IM passwords, but let me just say, I LOVE IT! \u00c2\u00a0My computer had been soooo crappy for soooo long I’d forgotten what it was like to actually be able to work at my pace and not my computer’s pace. \u00c2\u00a0Oh what a wonderful day! \u00c2\u00a0That and March Madness started. \u00c2\u00a0Hell yeah!<\/p>\n
