For years now I’ve wanted to try Bare Minerals makeup. \u00c2\u00a0I can’t imagine it had anything to do with my former obsession with infomercials. \u00c2\u00a0Anyway after consulting some of the knotties I decided I would give it a try. \u00c2\u00a0M and I ran by the mall yesterday to go to the store. \u00c2\u00a0Since I really had no idea what to do I decided it might be best to let someone show me. \u00c2\u00a0I sat down and proceeded to let the sales guy tell me more. \u00c2\u00a0Yes I said sales guy and YES he was wearing makeup (it was pretty natural but still). \u00c2\u00a0He showed me the different steps and made me up. \u00c2\u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
At first I wasn’t quite sure what I thought but my make up looked good. \u00c2\u00a0A little more then I normally do but I figured that was par for the course. \u00c2\u00a0The more the make up settled, the more I liked it. \u00c2\u00a0I had a nice glow and my skin looked great. \u00c2\u00a0I must say I really felt pretty.<\/p>\n
This morning I had my first shot at swirling and buffing. \u00c2\u00a0My first few attempts didn’t seem to do much. \u00c2\u00a0I added a little more powder and kept going. \u00c2\u00a0I finally thought I had enough on and continued to the next step. \u00c2\u00a0This step went pretty well and I finished up. \u00c2\u00a0I know it will take a few days to get everything figured out but so far so good.<\/p>\n
And if I can just say, I was so excited about my new make up I dreamed about it all last night. \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n
Today I had an appointment with the dermatologist. \u00c2\u00a0I’ve had a little spot on my cheek for a while now that I’ve ignored. \u00c2\u00a0But a few weeks ago it got really itchy and scaly and would bleed when I scratched it. \u00c2\u00a0I decided it was time to have it removed. \u00c2\u00a0Thankfully I didn’t think too much about the removal process or I might have freaked out. \u00c2\u00a0I guess I thought she would freeze it off so I didn’t think about the fact I might get a shot in my cheek. \ud83d\ude41 \u00c2\u00a0I was a big girl and I made it through the shot and the removal. \u00c2\u00a0Now I have a little band aid that I have to wear on my face until it heals. \u00c2\u00a0BOOOO! \u00c2\u00a0The doc said they should have the pathology back in a week or so. \u00c2\u00a0Hopefully it will just be a little sun damage.<\/p>\n
