Friday night I had my first GTG (get together) with the Raleigh knotties. \u00c2\u00a0We went to Dos Taquitos\u00c2\u00a0for dinner. \u00c2\u00a0It was really nice to meet these girls that I talk to on a regular basis online. \u00c2\u00a0I know it might sound weird, meeting “online” people. \u00c2\u00a0But it was really nice to have a night out with the knotties.<\/p>\n
And on a completely unrelated note, I am going to get my hair done tonight. \u00c2\u00a0It has been a while and it’s looking pretty bad. \u00c2\u00a0My roots are brown and my hair is flat and, according to M, dirty looking. \u00c2\u00a0(Thanks hun!) \u00c2\u00a0Tonight I am not only getting highlights but I am also getting low lights. \u00c2\u00a0I hope this looks good and I think it will make the “grow out” process a little smoother.<\/p>\n
I started doing highlights because I was tired of having roots all the time. \u00c2\u00a0I thought highlights might be a better option. \u00c2\u00a0But now I have roots from my highlights. \u00c2\u00a0I guess it doesn’t help that it’s been about 10 weeks since I had my last highlights done. \u00c2\u00a0That is a good 3-4 weeks past my normal time frame. \u00c2\u00a0And my hair desperately needs \u00c2\u00a0a cut. \u00c2\u00a0My bangs look crappy and are heavy. \u00c2\u00a0They fall in my face and get on my nerves. \u00c2\u00a0Currently they are pulled back in a barrette. \u00c2\u00a0Yes it’s bad.<\/p>\n
I also get to leave work a little early so I can get to my appointment on time! \u00c2\u00a0YAY! \u00c2\u00a0It has been super slow at work lately and while I feel bad reading blogs and knotting there really is nothing else to do. \u00c2\u00a0We are taking over credit soon and I will be the lead on that, so that is good. \u00c2\u00a0I started training this week and it seems pretty easy. \u00c2\u00a0I am familiar with the processes and only needed to learn the details really. \u00c2\u00a0It should be a good change. \u00c2\u00a0And it will give me more experience. \u00c2\u00a0That’s never a bad thing.<\/p>\n
