Yes, I know I know. \u00c2\u00a0I am a blog slacker. \u00c2\u00a0Yesterday was pretty busy at work and I was buried in rate centers most of the day. \u00c2\u00a0I meant to blog when I got home but by the time M reminded me it was late and I was over it. \u00c2\u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

I didn’t think I had any wedding related items from the weekend but I do. \u00c2\u00a0I had a small “hair” victory on Sunday. \u00c2\u00a0Last week I decided if I am going to do my hair for the wedding myself I need to get busy. \u00c2\u00a0While I was a Target I bought some mousse. \u00c2\u00a0I know mousse has a stigma but really, it works great. \u00c2\u00a0Anyway M wanted to go to the mall on Sunday and then we were going to a Super Bowl party. \u00c2\u00a0I mean what better time then to experiment on your hair. \u00c2\u00a0So that’s what I did. \u00c2\u00a0With mousse in hand I began. \u00c2\u00a0I scrunched my hair, added some styling cream and then diffused it out. \u00c2\u00a0(For those unfamiliar, a diffuser goes on the blow dryer and helps with curls. \u00c2\u00a0That is obviously the technical version. \u00c2\u00a0HA!)<\/p>\n

Let me just say WOW! \u00c2\u00a0My hair was really really big when I finished diffusing it dry. \u00c2\u00a0I mean like, it hasn’t been that curly since I had a perm, curly. \u00c2\u00a0I knew there was no way I was leaving it down. \u00c2\u00a0But before I pulled it back I used the curling iron to help make a few curls a little more curly. \u00c2\u00a0Once this was done I pulled it back in a low side ponytail. \u00c2\u00a0My goal had been to have flowy curls at the bottom but that didn’t really work out. \u00c2\u00a0All in all though it actually looked pretty good. \u00c2\u00a0I decided to put in my wedding earrings and take a few pics. \u00c2\u00a0You must forgive the pic, but you get the idea.<\/p>\n

Okay really it’s not a good pic but whatever. \u00c2\u00a0Here is my hair inspiration. \u00c2\u00a0As you can see I need more practice and LOTS of it. \u00c2\u00a0\ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Something similar to this but more ponytail\/bunish. \u00c2\u00a0If that makes any sense. \u00c2\u00a0I know I will probably go to my\u00c2\u00a0stylist\u00c2\u00a0in the next few months and see if she can help me achieve the look I am going for. \u00c2\u00a0Until then I will keep trying.<\/p>\n
