I think I’ve said this before but all this wedding planning has kicked my creativity into high gear. \u00c2\u00a0I am having a blast doing and creating things for our wedding. \u00c2\u00a0I even helped a fellow knottie with her invitation background yesterday. \u00c2\u00a0It makes me feel good I was able to help her out. \u00c2\u00a0(And even better that it took less then 10 mins start to finish \ud83d\ude09 )<\/p>\n
Just a few months ago I had very limited knowledge of Photoshop. \u00c2\u00a0I’d never even opened Publisher. \u00c2\u00a0Now I feel I could conquer the world. \u00c2\u00a0Or at the very least some basic editing and design. \u00c2\u00a0Why oh why had I not learned these skills months ago? \u00c2\u00a0I used Photoshop to create our Save the Dates. \u00c2\u00a0And honestly, if I’d had the knowledge I have now I might would have done something differently. \u00c2\u00a0The one thing I spent the most time on is the one thing I’m just not super crazy about.<\/p>\n
M admitted that he doesn’t like the pic we decided to put on it. \u00c2\u00a0I have to agree. \u00c2\u00a0We had a friend take some photos for us, and while I’m not complaining, I’m not crazy about any of the pics taken. \u00c2\u00a0Maybe it’s my fault for feeling rushed in trying to get them out so quickly. \u00c2\u00a0Oh well, they are done now and hanging on our friends and families refrigerators.<\/p>\n
I hope that I will continue to find new and creative ways to use these skills. \u00c2\u00a0I foresee a long line of adorable\/rough and tough birthday invites, party invitations, and Christmas cards, ala Kelly. \u00c2\u00a0Every project makes me feel more and more comfortable with my skill levels and more confident in the projects I can and will create.<\/p>\n
I think that’s why I didn’t feel like blogging yesterday, I was working on the background. \u00c2\u00a0One creative outlet for another.<\/p>\n
