One thing that really gets under my skin is people who constantly ask things of you and offer nothing in return.\u00c2\u00a0 And by this I mean something as simple as a thank you.\u00c2\u00a0 There is a guy I work with like this.\u00c2\u00a0 He constantly demands things without so much as a “Hey guys can you do…”.\u00c2\u00a0 And NEVER EVER does he say thank you.\u00c2\u00a0 People like this drive me nuts.\u00c2\u00a0 I know I may not always say thank you but I feel like I try to make an effort to do so.<\/p>\n
When I leave work, to get on the highway, I have to merge into traffic.\u00c2\u00a0 Lots of people have to merge and sometimes getting out of the off-ramp lane can be a pain.\u00c2\u00a0 For some reason people fail to understand that by not letting one person in, they are just causing more backups and more delays.\u00c2\u00a0 Once I get in, if I can tell the person has slowed down for me, I will send a wave in the rear-view mirror with a “thank you”.\u00c2\u00a0 And then I will proceed to let someone else in.\u00c2\u00a0 Rarely does anyone “wave” to me once I let them in.\u00c2\u00a0 So I guess I understand why most people feel the need not to let you in when you get nothing in return.<\/p>\n
So just remember everyone likes a thank you now and then.\u00c2\u00a0 Have a great weekend!<\/p>\n
