M and I have several weddings over the next few weeks.\u00c2\u00a0 I found\u00c2\u00a0 a dress a while back but I had been unable to find any shoes to go with the dress.\u00c2\u00a0 It may be a bit too “springish” for fall weddings but I really liked it and it was half off.\u00c2\u00a0 So it was a great deal.\u00c2\u00a0 This weekend I told M we had to go to the mall and find a new shirt for him and shoes for me.\u00c2\u00a0 Even though the dress would probably look better with silver shoes, I’ve been missing my gold shoes.<\/p>\n

Several years ago I bought a pair of gold Nine West sandals.\u00c2\u00a0 I LOVED these shoes.\u00c2\u00a0 To the point that they were literally falling apart but I just couldn’t get rid of them.\u00c2\u00a0 Then one day I decided it was time to put them out of their misery.\u00c2\u00a0 That was almost 3 years ago.\u00c2\u00a0 Since then I have been unable to find a pair I just loved…..until yesterday.\u00c2\u00a0 As we were walking through Belk for the 2nd time I saw them.\u00c2\u00a0 Gold strappy sandals, on sale!\u00c2\u00a0 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!\u00c2\u00a0 :)\u00c2\u00a0 It was like the heavens smiled down.\u00c2\u00a0 I tried them on and was in love, again.<\/p>\n

I find it funny that I LOVE gold shoes.\u00c2\u00a0 Gold is not really my color and I pretty much own nothing else gold.\u00c2\u00a0 But I love gold shoes.\u00c2\u00a0 The new ones aren’t a sparkley as the old ones but they look great with jeans, and well that’s what matters.\u00c2\u00a0 And of course there is a pic.\u00c2\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

Also noteworthy today, I finally got the call.\u00c2\u00a0 You know THE call, my dress is in!\u00c2\u00a0 I am so excited.\u00c2\u00a0 And I would be even more excited if I could go and get it this weekend.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m not really sure what to do.\u00c2\u00a0 I guess M and I will have to make a beach trip next weekend.\u00c2\u00a0 I can’t wait to see me in my dress.\u00c2\u00a0 And not some stupid model in some crappy internet pic.<\/p>\n

All of the excitement from my dress almost makes me forget about the fact that I feel like complete and utter crap.\u00c2\u00a0 I woke up at 4:30 this morning after dreaming I couldn’t breathe\/swallow.\u00c2\u00a0 Only to find out I really couldn’t.\u00c2\u00a0 My head has revolted against the cooler weather and I feel awful.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m going to try to make it through the day.\u00c2\u00a0 It was so bad that after a hot shower this morning I even used my neti-pot.\u00c2\u00a0 Not that it helped really.\u00c2\u00a0 I still feel like I\u00c2\u00a0 have something in my throat making breathing and swallowing difficult.\u00c2\u00a0 I guess I will try to make it the day and see what happens.\u00c2\u00a0 I foresee some nyquil in my future.<\/p>\n
