I will try to not get into a rant about how my day is going so far.\u00c2\u00a0 I just annoyed and really would prefer to be curled up in bed and not working.<\/p>\n
Anyway, this weekend was pretty good although it got off to a rough start.\u00c2\u00a0 M and I met mom and dad for an early dinner.\u00c2\u00a0 Mom had to pick daddy up from the airport and she brought down the bar stools and my old wedding dress.\u00c2\u00a0 I have to say that this has been the first time in a while that I kind of felt like I was hanging out with my “old” parents.\u00c2\u00a0 Things were light-hearted and more relaxed.<\/p>\n
After they left to head back, I decided a little wine was in order.\u00c2\u00a0 After a couple of glasses I decided to put the bottle in the fridge.\u00c2\u00a0 I grabbed a stopper we had in the drawer.\u00c2\u00a0 The stopper was a little big but I figured it would go in.\u00c2\u00a0 And just then CRASH!!!!!!!!\u00c2\u00a0 Wine bottle falls to the floor and on the way down hits my big toe.\u00c2\u00a0 At first I’m just standing in the kitchen watching the wine pour from the bottle, then the pain hits.\u00c2\u00a0 My toe is throbbing with pain and I am holding on to the counter.\u00c2\u00a0 I can’t move.\u00c2\u00a0 I begin to cry and I’m still standing there doing nothing.\u00c2\u00a0 M finally walks into the kitchen to see what’s going on.\u00c2\u00a0 I manage to get bottle and toe out.\u00c2\u00a0 He picks me up and carries me to the couch, grabs some ice for my foot and cleans up the mess.\u00c2\u00a0 I still have no idea how the bottle hit my toe but it’s still sore today.<\/p>\n
I love M for so many reasons and Friday night was one of them.\u00c2\u00a0 He takes care of me all the time.\u00c2\u00a0 Thank goodness because someone has too.\u00c2\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Saturday was a much better day.\u00c2\u00a0 I had my hair appointment scheduled so now I have highlights.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m still trying to decide what I think about the darker more highlighted me.\u00c2\u00a0 It doesn’t look bad, just different.\u00c2\u00a0 On my way home from the salon I turned the radio on to the NC State game and was home by the end of the first quarter.\u00c2\u00a0 NC State looked really good on Saturday and pulled out a W against Georgia Tech.\u00c2\u00a0 This puts State at 4-0 and currently ranked at #23.\u00c2\u00a0 Auburn on the other hand looked like crap Saturday night.\u00c2\u00a0 Somehow, they managed to win and move up in the polls.\u00c2\u00a0 We still have a lot of work to do though.\u00c2\u00a0 All in all two teams at 4 – 0 ranked in the top 25 is a good day.<\/p>\n
