I’ve been waiting for the netting to arrive so I can start my next DIY project, my veil.\u00c2\u00a0 Since M was playing golf yesterday I decided to run to Michael’s and pick up some supplies to work on my veil.\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve also decided I want to spice up my invitations a tad.\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve seen a few girls that have put a “belly band” of sorts around the outside of the envelope.\u00c2\u00a0 This adds a little color and also alleviates the need to run each envelope through the printer since you print the address on the label.<\/p>\n
After cruising through the paper section I realized I couldn’t find any paper that would fit completely around the envelope.\u00c2\u00a0 I figured there had to be a product for this right?\u00c2\u00a0 Hell no!\u00c2\u00a0 As I was searching I started looking through the stamp section.\u00c2\u00a0 I decided that if I couldn’t find the paper I was looking for I could use a stamp on the outside.\u00c2\u00a0 Also this wouldn’t add any more weight to the envelope.\u00c2\u00a0 Well after about an hour of looking and searching I realize I can’t find the damn stamp ink.\u00c2\u00a0 What the hell Michael’s?!?!!?<\/p>\n
At this point I’m so frustrated by my envelope fiasco I almost completely forget I’m actually there to find stuff for my veil.\u00c2\u00a0 I run over to the wedding section to look for a comb.\u00c2\u00a0 And wouldn’t you know, they don’t really have any combs.\u00c2\u00a0 Seriously?!?!?\u00c2\u00a0 So I head to the flower section, I mean they have flowers right.\u00c2\u00a0 Strike three!\u00c2\u00a0 This is just not my day to find anything apparently.\u00c2\u00a0 I finally just decide to run to Target.\u00c2\u00a0 Well they have nothing interesting in hair accessories either.\u00c2\u00a0 I end up buying a snap barrette, that might work and a drink.\u00c2\u00a0 I did manage to find a comb at the grocery store on my stop home.\u00c2\u00a0 *shakes head*<\/p>\n
Today my veil netting arrived in the mail.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m pretty excited.\u00c2\u00a0 I don’t think it’s going to take very much to make what I want, plus I can add some crystals.\u00c2\u00a0 ;)\u00c2\u00a0 I’ve managed to work up a “new” plan which involves a trip to the Mall.\u00c2\u00a0 I figure if I can’t find something, anything, between Claire’s and Forever 21, it’s just not meant to be.\u00c2\u00a0 At least for now.\u00c2\u00a0 I know I still have plenty of time for this but I have the excitement now.<\/p>\n
I mean can’t a girl find a glittery, sparkly, flowery hair piece?!?!?!\u00c2\u00a0 Is it really THAT hard!!!!<\/p>\n
On the bright-side, AW officially starts on Wednesday.\u00c2\u00a0 Finally after a month I will have help and that gets a big fat YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
