Friday night M and I were laying around on the couch watching tv when I thought I felt something odd on my lip.\u00c2\u00a0 Upon further inspection I realized I had a cold sore starting.\u00c2\u00a0 UGHHH!\u00c2\u00a0 This is pretty much my body’s way of telling me I need to chill out!\u00c2\u00a0 With everything at work being so chaotic and not feeling well I should have known this was coming.\u00c2\u00a0 I immediately went upstairs to put medicine on my lip in hopes I’d caught it early enough.\u00c2\u00a0 Well as luck would have it, by the time I woke up Saturday morning my lip was pretty swollen.\u00c2\u00a0 Honestly, I’m not sure what’s worse, the cold sore or the swelling.\u00c2\u00a0 I look like I got hit in the mouth.\u00c2\u00a0 On top of that my jaw and ear are now hurting.<\/p>\n
Saturday night M and I joined a small group of friends for dinner.\u00c2\u00a0 And while I was unimpressed with dinner, it was nice to see everyone.\u00c2\u00a0 One of our friends is due with her first baby this week and I figured if we didn’t see her Saturday we probably wouldn’t see her until the baby was born.\u00c2\u00a0 I really enjoyed our night out, even if I did look like a got beat up.\u00c2\u00a0 \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Yesterday M and I got up and decided to clean some before we met my parents.\u00c2\u00a0 My dad flew in on Thursday and was flying out on Sunday.\u00c2\u00a0 I talked to him on Friday and said we’d like to meet them for lunch or something before he flew out.\u00c2\u00a0 I had just finished cleaning our bathroom when M and I decided to move the dresser upstairs.\u00c2\u00a0 I had just showered but was really ready to see how it looked.\u00c2\u00a0 Right after we’d gotten it up and I sat down to start my make-up I get a call from my dad telling me that he is just “too busy, too much going on” to meet for lunch.\u00c2\u00a0 Great!\u00c2\u00a0 Nothing annoys me more then getting ready to go someplace only to be told plans are off.\u00c2\u00a0 But mostly I was just really annoyed that he was “too busy” to see me while he was in town.\u00c2\u00a0 Even if only for a few minutes.\u00c2\u00a0 Whatever!<\/p>\n
Needless to say M and I continued our little cleaning spree.\u00c2\u00a0 The house is nice and clean which always feels nice.\u00c2\u00a0 I wish we could find some sort of balance so the house doesn’t feel like a complete disaster after a couple of weeks.\u00c2\u00a0 I guess we will figure it out one day.<\/p>\n
