Well it’s finally Thursday and I must say I am feeling a little better about my current situation.\u00c2\u00a0 I am almost caught up, kind of, on orders.\u00c2\u00a0 I have A working on disconnects and well it’s THURSDAY!\u00c2\u00a0 I don’t feel as overwhelmed today as I have the past couple of days and it’s nice.\u00c2\u00a0 Oh and I am actually making time to blog.\u00c2\u00a0 YAY!\u00c2\u00a0 I feel bad I was such a slacker yesterday but oh well.<\/p>\n
Since before I moved in with M, I knew the bedroom would be a challenge.\u00c2\u00a0 M, having been a bachelor for 4+ years, didn’t have much in the bedroom furniture department.\u00c2\u00a0 And while I had bedroom furniture, what I had would not have been enough to hold all of our stuff.\u00c2\u00a0 Plus it was more on the girlie side.\u00c2\u00a0 Hence it is now our guest room.\u00c2\u00a0 :)\u00c2\u00a0 Before all the wedding plans were put into motion, I had dreams of matching bedroom suites with perfectly matching linens.\u00c2\u00a0 Yeah, not gonna happen.\u00c2\u00a0 At least not right now anyway.\u00c2\u00a0 So I decided I would have to make do with what I could find.\u00c2\u00a0 This happens to be a chest of drawers, my chest of drawers from childhood, that I had been using as extra storage in my townhouse.\u00c2\u00a0 My mom has the dresser and maybe one day I’ll be able to actually get it back.\u00c2\u00a0 She says when the house sells!\u00c2\u00a0 Whatever.\u00c2\u00a0 Anyway, she had painted the dresser black so I asked for the color so I could match the chest of drawers.<\/p>\n
This weekend I decided I would tackle painting the chest of drawers.\u00c2\u00a0 M and I headed to Lowe’s, picked up some paint and then I searched through the various knobs and pulls trying to find something I liked that wasn’t too expensive.\u00c2\u00a0 After finally making up my mind it was time to paint.\u00c2\u00a0 OMG it was hot on Saturday.\u00c2\u00a0 I managed to get the drawers painted but not the actual chest.\u00c2\u00a0 On Sunday I made M move the car and help me get the chest in the garage.\u00c2\u00a0 Much better.\u00c2\u00a0 Still hot but not nearly as bad.\u00c2\u00a0 So now sitting in our downstairs hallway is a fully painted chest of drawers.\u00c2\u00a0 I am hoping that we will put it upstairs tonight.\u00c2\u00a0 If only I could get the dresser I would be set.\u00c2\u00a0 Almost.\u00c2\u00a0 M even said I could paint the bed if I really wanted.\u00c2\u00a0 Which may actually happen once I have the furniture upstairs.\u00c2\u00a0 He has, however nixed my new bedding idea.\u00c2\u00a0 Apparently paisley is considered floral.\u00c2\u00a0 We will see who wins that one.\u00c2\u00a0 \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
