Today marks the 9 month mark.\u00c2\u00a0 For our wedding!\u00c2\u00a0 Up to now I had really been paying this much attention but I think now that I am to single digits it will start to set it.\u00c2\u00a0 And I think it’s kind of funny that August 13 is also a Friday.\u00c2\u00a0 Hehe!<\/p>\n
M and I got a few more wedding things done today.\u00c2\u00a0 He called the wedding coordinator, finally, at the hotel to set up a call to discuss the details.\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 We will talk to her next Friday at lunch.\u00c2\u00a0 I think at that point we will have a better idea of how this will all work.\u00c2\u00a0 We have the pricing sheet but I’m pretty sure that can’t be right ;)\u00c2\u00a0 But really, I think it will give us a better idea of what we want to do after the wedding.\u00c2\u00a0 I would prefer a “beach bbq” as opposed to a sit down dinner in one of the restaurants.\u00c2\u00a0 I guess we might could do something outdoors but I’m not sure how I feel about something too formal.\u00c2\u00a0 To me, sit down dinners are formal and well, nothing about this wedding really screams formal.\u00c2\u00a0 In general I’m not a sit down dinner kind of gal.\u00c2\u00a0 They feel to structured for me.\u00c2\u00a0 I’m not very structured.\u00c2\u00a0 I let M take care of that. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
I made a call of my own today.\u00c2\u00a0 I called the bridal shop to see if there was any kind of delivery date for my dress.\u00c2\u00a0 My original thought was it should be in around Labor day.\u00c2\u00a0 Which meant BEACH TRIP!\u00c2\u00a0 But when I called she said it would be OCTOBER!!!!!!!!!\u00c2\u00a0 And not only that but the END of October.\u00c2\u00a0 Ughh!\u00c2\u00a0 Oh well, it’s not like the wedding is anytime too soon.\u00c2\u00a0 I guess I will have to wait.<\/p>\n
I also found another site for flowers.\u00c2\u00a0 I have now decided that I DO NOT want the “free” bouquet that comes with our wedding package.\u00c2\u00a0 Plus I heard from another Sandals bride that it was pretty puny.\u00c2\u00a0 The only problem I’m running into is that the places that have reasonably priced bouquets also have minimum orders that are about double what the bouquet is.\u00c2\u00a0 Basically I found a great bouquet for $60.00 but I have to spend $100.00.\u00c2\u00a0 I would prefer to not spend $100.00 on flowers, and fake ones at that.\u00c2\u00a0 This may all remedy itself, if the moms and grandmothers want corsages.\u00c2\u00a0 M is pretty opposed to this idea.\u00c2\u00a0 “Why are we going to spend money on that?”\u00c2\u00a0 “Well it’s pretty traditional hun.”\u00c2\u00a0 “There is nothing about this wedding that is traditional, I don’t want traditional.”\u00c2\u00a0 His words not mine.\u00c2\u00a0 I see his point on one hand but the moms\/grandmothers may see this differently.\u00c2\u00a0 And if so I will of course have my minimum of $100.00.\u00c2\u00a0 So we will see.<\/p>\n
